Billy Boguard is a French Mellow-Pop singer-songwriter based between London and Marseille, who writes, plays and sings from the heart, adding to it a blend of imagination, psyche and fantasy that culminate to betray his own feelings, finding the simple truth of storytelling in the process. Having participated at TV show "The Voice 7" and having supported French acts Amir and Vianney, Billy now works with British Producer Dom Kirtley (Rick Leigh, , Tom Misch, Scorecard) for his next EP "Eros".
His first single "Evergreen Scars" was released on the 27/11/2020 and the music video (directed by Adrien Arnaud) came out on the 09/12/2020.
“I’m absolutely stunned by the variety of influences which I can hear in the vocals. The range of dynamics shown across this song is stellar, you want to take in every bit of Billy’s deeply heartfelt vocal delivery. It’s a gem of a single designed to be awed upon in a dark concert hall with a single light shining down over the singer and his piano."
The Bops collective"Evergreen Scars’ is grown up yet let’s it’s inner child run wild. Fuelled with imagination and optimism, Billy Boguard’s songwriting is something special, that deserves to be in everybody’s households. Ending with the title being sung, the climatic ending is sensational."

Billy first picked up a guitar at the age of 15, and was singing before that. He discovered his first urge to write songs (not coincidentally) when he fell in love with his first girlfriend.
From there, his creativity gathered momentum, finding its place in heavy metal (for four years) and pop-punk (for two), both of which were infiltrated by a growing interest in bands like Pink Floyd and Radiohead.
Billy’s solo ambition took him to London to pursue his dream of becoming a working musician.
There, artists like Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Nick Drake truly opened his eyes to the beguiling fables of Folk music. Armed with a harmonica and a guitar, he started writing songs and performed them at open mic nights and local gigs, leading to more and more booked gigs and, in 2014, the recording of his first EP ‘Tallulah’ produced by Nacho Silvestre, in Spain. "Billy Boguard has a richness in his vocals that cut through with vulnerability and rawness. This vulnerability is on full display in Evergreen Scars, a dark adult contemporary ballad that explores the raw emotions of heartache. I was really swept away in the depth and anger captured in the lyrics as well as the production"

At one such gig, in 2015, Billy had a chance meeting with producer and sound engineer Ed Hartwell (Ed Sheeran, The Prodigy) and together they began work on his second EP "Across the narrow sea".
One year of hard craft, a successful kickstarter campaign, one choir and string quartet later,
"Across the Narrow Sea" was released in March 2017, the EP launch gig happening at a sold out "Slaughtered Lamb"in London.
In 2018, he participated at TV show "The Voice 7" and supported French musicians Amir
His 3rd EP "Gossip
", entirely produced by Billy, was released on the 7th of June 2019.
The singles and music videos for "Gossip" and "Sunbath" were both released in 2019.
The EP launch party was the 6th of June 2019 at "The Finsbury", London, with a 6 pieces band.
Billy released is new single "Evergreen scars" on the 27/11/20, establishing his new pop sound, working with producer Dom Kirtley (Rick Leigh, , Tom Misch, Scorecard)
The whole EP "Eros" is set to be released in 2021. "A striking tune where you can feel Boguard’s genuine presence and know that it’s coming from the depths of his heart."
